We believe youth employment is key to unlocking prosperity. Accelerating economic growth through inclusive interventions that drive productivity and innovation is critical.
Nigeria’s youth population is growing and will increasingly become the nation’s workforce. It is estimated that by 2030, Africa will be home to the world’s largest workforce, with 375 million young people entering the labour market.
With the right skills, young people will improve their lives and the lives of their communities.
In Calabar, the youngest, fastest-growing skill is beee-keeping. Our focus in Calabar is supporting youth and women in their pathways through education and on to meaningful work.
LANI Foundation works with visionary organisations and initiatives to enable individuals accross the country to access dignified, meaningful, and fulfilling work.
Who we are
All people, no matter their starting point in life, should have an equal chance to succeed. We believe that with access to education, financial services, skills training, and work opportunities, young people will improve their lives and have that chance.
Since 2021, LANI Foundation has committed over ₦5 million in resources to advance education and financial and social inclusion accross 3 states, primarily in Nigeria, to catalyse prosperity for Nigerian citizens.
