Nairo, Kenya

 In Nairobi, Kenya’s dynamic capital, our work has focused on community health and digital learning. We joined forces with Kenyan NGOs and local government agencies to support clinics in informal settlements and to introduce digital classrooms in public schools. For example, the Foundation helped establish a youth centre equipped with computers and internet access in Nairobi’s Eastlands area, enabling students to learn ICT skills and entrepreneurs to explore online markets. Our partnerships in Nairobi – including those with healthcare volunteers and technology firms – have strengthened local capacity and provided new opportunities in urban communities that face economic hardship
